For the last 7 years I have provided Simply Remind Me as a free app for people to send themselves reminders for events like birthdays, anniversaries, appointments and renewals (MOT, insurance, etc.)
It was designed for people to send themselves reminders - hence the name, Simply Remind Me.
I've added a new feature to the website for Simply Remind Me - my free email and simple text reminder app. The website now shows live statistics, read directly from the Simply Remind Me platform.
The statistics show the number of new users, events created, reminders sent and the number of unique timezones the app has users registered in - since the start of 2023.
As of the time of publishing, these are the current statistics:
It’s rare for commercial software developers, such as myself, to get to use the software we write. We rely on our users to report problems or suggest new features for the applications we develop.
It’s also difficult to try out new technologies or methodologies without having a “real” application to build or experiment on.
Just lately in my life, the days seem to rush by. So much so that important dates come and go without me even realising it. Important dates such as my car MOT’s renewal date!
